Kids Yoga Teacher Training!

I'm helping host a Yoga for Kids Teacher Training with MiniYogis from LA...here, in NYC, this coming September 5th! The training is a certificate program for teaching kids yoga, and focuses on children ages 3-8. Learn how to transform a traditional yoga practice into a creative experience for mini-yogis! Yoga and Creative Writing Workshop at Strala!
In this workshop, lines of body will meld with lines of poems, sequences of asanas will dance with the sequences of words, speech and breath, movement and stillness will be explored. Through yoga, meditation, and writing exercises, creativity will be opened up along with tight hips. No previous writing or yoga experience is necessary, just bring an open mind and heart, a pen and some yoga clothes. The day will consist of writing exercises, readings, and a yoga practice for all levels…linking creativity, inspiration, reflection and yoga!
